I'm afraid a flurry of signings haven't made me forget what a completely useless piece of sh1t Pardew is.
Pardew can't read a game of football or rate players so yes it's worrying but u worked that out years ago.
Just wants to find a buyer for him. I seem to remember SAF bigging him up right before he suckered Pardew. I'm surprised someone doesn't take a chance to be honest in France or the Championship. He'd do well. He had a decent spell for us in the PL but has been ****e ever since. He is very fast. He has a big heed. Nothing else to see here. Pardew has also talked about letting him find a new club as he won't play.
His other option would be to tell the press obertan is ****... Thereby destroying any chance of receiving £££ for him..
the other possibility, of course, is that Obertan was the best player on the pitch against SW. It was a team of kids, after all, and obertan has played well once or twice in the past. I'm not in a position to judge. The only part of the game I saw was the goal, in which Obertan provided a good pass and Ayoze applied a good finish. Did anyone go ? If so, who was our best player ?
Whilst I'm not condoning Pardew - he's dreadful - it is tiresome that every comment is analysed. Try sitting with a dictaphone on for a few hours, then play it back. You won't believe half the cr@p you come out with. It's about time we moved on from being judge, jury and executioner on every press cutting.
Quite a few reports suggest he was pretty good along with Abeid and Tiote. Certainly the Chronicle saw fit to do a whole little section on him not being a bad player. Its Abeid who interests me. Maybe the reason we have cooled on the likes of Grenier etc apart from monetary reasons, is this lad has come back a different player. He was excellent out on loan so maybe he can give us that additonal option we need.
Obertan while doing a fine impression of a headless chicken..is also a 'confidence' player.. So pardew saying that about him has 2 reasons.. 1. If we are stuck with him in the squad...cant hurt to say it 2. If trying to flog/get rid..its PR speak..and cant hurt to say it
I would love this to be right. After the first couple of times I saw Abeid I confidently predicted greatness for him. I am never right about these things. Sure enough, last season it looked like I was going to be wrong again. It would be so nice to be right for once (just to briefly see what being Mr Tiote feels like)
Can't wait for our first team sheet vs city. We all know it won't be what it should be. Well both be right about that wor kid We should predict what the clown Pardew will come up with and bonus points for the subs he makes that make us lose any foothold in the game we may have
I'm going for Dummett to come on, and "it takes time to find your feet/gel together as a team" (or words to that effect) being the default excuse until at least November.
Its as tired as the word Pardewed, the excuses for HBA, or little 9 yr old Ping on the Samsung production line. His media work is poor but there does seem to be a bit of a crusade - which helps no one!
