    If they offered 40million at the start of the transfer window I think we'd of accepted. Gives us time to find a replacement. This close to the end with our survival still not guarenteed. I can't see it happening.

    I dnt think Liverpool have that kind of cash, but im not scarred, he will stay in my opinion

    Don't forget that this 'offer' resides on the completed sale of Torres.

    If Chelsea dither then Carroll will not be sold. End of.

    It's too late to find a replacement and Mike knows this. He's a twat but he's not an idiot.

    I honestly think that Pardew has given an outlay to MA on how to take the team forward and listed players that are key to taking us forward. Carroll,Barton, Enrique are all key players which pardew has tied down with new contracts.

    If we have knocked back bids from Spurs and Liverpool surely that shows are intent to hang on to Carroll.

    Pardew also had the sense to sit down with him and discuss the transfer rumours with Carroll and both said they wanted him to stay as a long term player here.

    As I've said on other articles Carroll is worth more than £30-£40 million to us, especially where we look to push on to with him in the team.

    My mate who works at Gatwick airport (Hertz rental car desk - Southern terminal arrivals - not the gay one at the desk) just rented a car to a Mr. Hazard who asked for a map to Newcastle.

    It would be stupid to sell to our immediate rivals.
    Liverplol are around our level atm & Spurts wont qualify for CL this season, do we really want to sell to a club who we will be hopefully still challenging for the Europa places at the end of the season?
    If Manure, Citeh, Arsenal or Chelski had come in I'd understand more if he was sold as we don't have a hope in hell of catching those 4 so they're not our rivals!

    even if he does accept why would Carroll want to move to Liverpool
    they dont have the attraction they used to have to players
    especially to Englishmen who are not from Scouseland

    Mike Ashley could accept £40 million bids all window... doesnt mean to say Carroll will leave, all he has to do is say no to any contract. i have some faith that he would say no. if not then thats 40 million that can be spent on the team as incoming transfer fees are club money not the owners money.

    they question no one else had asked, why would andy carrol leave us for a worse team in liverpool, torres will leave, gerrard will leave and they will turn into the new newcastle, no i mean leeds, oops
