My BIGGEST fear is that the new Man In Charge wil do a 'Pearson'... Mass Exodus of players !!! Will the new manager want his own fresh faces and non of Pearson's cast offs, I'm not calling any City player a cast off btw but this might be how the new man percieves things !!! How many are left now of old before NP came to the club? Will NP raid all our best talent, will the Allam's Sell our best players on the cheap in January??? To say I am Very Worried about our clubs future is an understatement !!!
Think Papa will check this out at final interviews, there is no way he is going to be selling players from a good squad if that's what the new guy hints at. To much respect for his cash I believe.
Allam will most certainly make it clear that this is our squad and the new manager is to work with it and add to it. No way will we go through all that ****e again, it would just be unnecessary and probably counter productive. I'd imagine if the new chap wants to build his own team from scratch, well very kindly say "**** off ****" in those exact word and move on to the next.
Lets hope so Mids/Bob Thanks for your kind words of reassurance at these difficult times x x x No seriously, I hope any new manager does'nt tinker too much or as others have hinted, the Allam's have lost all interest in HCFC having lost out on the KC and decide to flog all our talent in January !!!
I dont think any player will be allowed to go, especially to leicester city, unless it was for more than the players worth.
Don't be silly, if they were to want out, they wouldn't sell the squad, they'd get promotion and probably triple the clubs worth first, it's the only way they could possibly get any decent amount of their money back.
This squad is too good to be dismantled by a new manager. When we came down we had average players on over inflated wages that we needed rid of, whereas now we have a team with the likes of Chester, Rosenior, Hobbs, Basso, Koren, Stewart etc who are decent Championship players and the new manager would be a fool to get rid of them for his own players. Whoever gets teh job is bound to want to add their own players but I can't see them wanting to get rid of first team players in that process.
Couple of points: Not all of the players NP brought in have been particularly sharp. We have the opportunity to bring in someone who will manage with more attacking flair. He will also understand the importance of defending well. The future will always be Black & Amber; no matter what any 2 bit dipshit decides to throw at the club. The comp cash needs to go straight into the January promotion fund. Play off final at Wembley and Hull City are promoted; much to the chagrin of the Foxes owners and their deparating manager. ****ing good stuff this brandy coffee!!!
He wasn't when he was at Leeds. He left us before AP came here because Little replaced him under Hinchcliffe. He went straight from us to Leeds' academy within the space of a week. At the time AP was the commercial director at Leeds and it's the only time they've been in the same place to have connections. Since the claim was that their connection was what was getting us the Man U kids I'm curious as to what kind of connection they would actualy have had at the time. It's like Maguire forming links with Billy Russell that could lead in 10 years time to Billy Russell letting a club Maguire works for have some players ahead of anyone else just because they were here together now.
Our young players are being looked after by Barmby. I would expect that by now they will have a great dislike for NP and a total sense of betrayal.
The players are definitely pissed off with the way NP has handled this week, he told some of them he was going nowhere, then a few days later he ****ed off. If he comes back for some, they might be tempted by the money, but at the moment, NP's about as popular as Freddie Starr.
I don't see any need to worry we have got some very good players, Any manager with half a brain should be able to work with what we've got.
