I have just looked at a page that lists then top ten fastest footballers in order from 10 -1. Have a go and list your 10. I will post the link up later to see who gets the closest. Valley no cheating and looking up tha answers.

 

I'm just going to post my top 10 in no particular order.

Ronaldo
Bale
Robben
Nani
Walcott
Lennon (like lightening a few years back)
Sterling
Neymar
Messi (not sure here as I have never seen him run flat out the full length of a pitch)
Sanchez

Over what distance ... a yard, 10, 30, 50, 100?

 

I never had any trouble with balls out speed ..... I've never seen anybody sprint with a limp.

Clever start / stop, change of direction merchants, different problem entirely.

From what I've seen, currently playing, in no particular order:

Ronaldo
Bale
Messi
Routledge
Robben
Sterling
Jordi Alba (Barca)
.... from here it's tough to seperate.

 

Is Messi that quick? Never seen him running flat out for more than 20 yards? I've based mine on a 100m sprint.

 

Think Valencia is the quickest. Remember hearing that somewhere

Henry would have been right up there years ago

 

Its not over a distance. It is what their top speed has been clocked at.

 

I find it hard to believe that Rooney is faster than Nathan Dyer and Wayne Routledge (just as two examples). Even I've been clocked at 28kmh by my MiCoach chip...that's without any formal training ever in my life. So the 10th fastest player in football is 2kmh fast than me??

It must only be taken from the top teams in European football. After all, there are only Bayern, Real, Barcelona, Tottenham and Man United players present.

 

Surprised me. How accurate no one knows, only a bit of fun though.

What the hell would Giggs top speed have been then in his early twenties? Very surprised it isn't Ronaldo or Bale tbh.

 

Bale has to be in there somewhere, and Robben surely must be at the top too, he had a fabulous time for Holland, Sanchez from Barca is fast also so these would be three I can think of to start with!....................

Those are the only one I can think of that stand out for pace and speed, cannot find 10, I know Messi is good but I don't think he has pace!..........
