No big surprises really. Barca and Real out front followed by Manure,Chelsea,Arsenal and Milan. http://www.footballfancast.com/prem...-the-world-according-to-facebook-and-twitter?
Oh yeah, well it's official then coming through Twitter and Facebook Do you honestly think that Chelsea would be up there with the likes of: Man Utd Liverpool (Yes this is a much bigger club with history) Real Madrid Barcelona AC Milan Juventus Bayern Munich Not a chance!
I don't know what to tell you mate but shirt sales, social media, finance and several surveys suggest we're top 4/5 in every category so I guess they all must be wrong and you're right
It's astonishing really. Where the **** were all these Chelsea fans in the 80's and 90's? Busy? Unborn? Liverpool fans? Well done though.
Why are you referencing those 2 decades and not the decades like the 30's 40's or 50's when we regularly broke highest attendance records despite not having won a single trophy. Those are the times that tell you what a clubs underlying support is and ours is and always has been massive. Still, going back that far in to our history doesn't compute with todays glory hunting Manc.
I'm referencing those two decades as they are the years that many of the current home match going fans could have been regulars at Stamford Bridge had they been interested in or even aware of Chelsea. Obvious really. I doubt many of the current lot were part of the massive support in the 30's, 40's and 50's. What happened to all those fans? Lost interest? Busy? Or were they just part of the football culture of the time that saw much higher gates than today for most clubs? As for the 80's being a glory hunting time for United fans, you need a history lesson Young Chav!
Higher gates for most clubs but the HIGHEST for us. See the difference. The point I am making is that HISTORICALLY we have always been one of the best supported teams. (I never mentioned or suggested the 80's were glory hunting years for you.Not sure how you read that from my post)
More quality PR for the Chavs this evening. For a club that has such a chip on its shoulder about being considered "big" it really does have a self destruct button!
Fantastic. Maybe start yet another thread to "confirm" what a massive club the Chavs are? Rafa the Gaffa!
How Man United fans can slam Chelsea for being glory hunters is laughable. Where i am - Sussex, about half of all people support United! And i can reassure that none of them are born there, been to a game, have family connections there or any other kind of link. Other than they won a couple of trophies! Success brings fans, so stop ****ing whinging and support your respective clubs!
