As it says really. No rules on formation or how many from a side you can pick from.

Can name subs and a gaffer too if you like. Doesn't have to be particularly based on this season's form either, although selecting someone of the likes of Rooney based on his form 5 or 6 years back is a bit OTT ;).

    ..............Neuer...................
    Alves, Silva, Hummels, Alaba
    ......... Pogba, Modric...........
    Messi...................... Ronaldo
    ......... Suarez, Aguero..........

Lloris, Boateng, Lahm, Iniesta, Bale, Neymar, Lewandowski

Gaffer - Joachim Low - Enjoy watching the way his Germany team play with such a dominant aura about themselves.

I think if I done this in a years time, It'd just be Spurs' XI seeing as we'll win the treble <whistle>. But in all seriousness if some our lads continue their form from this season into next then the likes of Toby, Dier, Alli and Kane could well be in with a shout, as would some of the Leicester lads. Notable mentions to Matuidi and Kroos too, just missed out on my selection, both have been better than Iniesta this season in my opinion but I just couldn't leave the legend out.

If a load of aliens came and wanted a football game against the world's best I'd play...

    De Gea
    Lahm Silva Godin Alaba
    Pogba Iniesta Modric
    Messi Suarez Ronaldo
Neuer, Ramos, Alves, Bale, Lewandowski, Aguero and Neymar.

Lahm or Alves was probably my toughest decision to choose from. Lahm is a far better defensive RB but Alves' bombing forward is unrivalled.

Yeah I chose my team more on what I think would beat any other team rather than what i'd most enjoy to watch.

Hence De Gea>Neuer, Godin > Ramos and Lahm > Alves

I wouldn't consider/ select Ramos anyway to be honest, think he's massively overrated. Picked up something like 20 reds in his career so far, mental. Godin's a great shout though, forgot about him, absolute quality CB.

Ramos is a bit of a train wreck but as an ex-centre half I just love watching him play. He is 10 steps ahead of the game and that is why he is Real Madrid's captain.

  7. FFS! Everyone knows that The Universe 11 are all under 5' and they favour a 4321 formation, so you'd have to throw in Andy Carroll up top!
Mind you, with all having 4 arms each, the ref will have a tough job with the grappling at corners......
At least do your research <laugh>

Keep getting visions of that advert from years back with the famous "Au Revoir" Cantona quote. So aliens be warned, we all know how the last match ended up.
