Agreed. France too while we're at it. When English fans caused mayhem st football tournaments abroad, we were banned for five years.

Do we England and other nations boycott the World Cup in Russia 2018? What we are seeing now is likely a small percentage of what could happen if you're daft enough to travel.

At the moment we have one death - unsure whether violence related - another 50 year old England supporter with serious brain injuries as the result of an iron bar attack. Or do we send armed forces in with our supporters to Russia,

If FIFA weren't prepared to consider taking the World Cup off Russia for the presumed bribery, I can't see them doing it for hooliganism. They'll accept some bollocks from Russia that it will all be controlled.

This is also why England or Russia won't be suspended from the Euro's - they can't suspend a nation then give them the World Cup 2 years later.

If it's not taken off them we should play, qualify, then withdraw a couple of weeks before stating safety concerns, then see how FIFA cope with all the fall out.

I'm boycotting the next 2 world cups. Both Russia and Qatar bought the tournaments. The list of potential pitfalls for traveling fans is huge. Both countries treat LGBT people like ****. Qatar treat rape victims like criminals (see latest story about dutch woman), women travelling alone should excerice extreme caution. Hundreds of deaths in Qatar in the constuction of stadia for the tournament (reports of slave labour used to boot). Russian police are dodgy as **** - will an england fan be treated with the same level of respect by police that we would if we were hosting? Doubt it.
The whole situation stinks. Fifa have got blood on their hands and more will come.

Sadly i doubt the FA have the bollocks to withdraw from the tournament.

nothing will change on Russia 18 or Qatar 22, Fifa despite their millions couldn't afford the legal costs of going up against either of them if they took it off them. Russia in particular would take it through CAS and have it so tied up in red tape there just wouldn't be time to resolve it in advance of the tournament. As for Qatar, money talks and they have only one thing other than lots of sand. Money.

They've got a master plan to retain Hodgson and just not qualify.

It all makes sense now! Thats why hodgson's still around! Even better, give Neville the job. We might be so far down the rankings with him that our qualifying group would be impossible to navigate thus making it look like a bigger obstacle rather than tactical ineptitude!

    One word..or two...No chance..

FIFA are useless hyprocrits..It took them a decade to get Blatter and his sidekicks.. They won't even consider changing the venue, never mind doing it..

All those stupid ****s that were responsible for football violence in the past, and all the silly ****s who still wet their pants when the likes of Cass Pennant or Bill Gardiner's names are mentioned, and buy their stupid ****ing books, are getting a bit of a schooling aren't they?

I've got to admit that, watching those well-organised, fight-trained Russians, taking on our pot-bellied, pissed-up gobshites, chanting their stupid ****ing xenophobic nonsense, and giving them a good hiding, has been slightly amusing.

Ha. I was only joking. I did kinda enjoy the rest of the post though.

On the topic.....are we allowed politics if the country is having one of the biggest votes in its recent history?? I think I know the answer and fully deserve a "no politics please".
