Been a while since I have thought of it so thought it might be fun (god i hate internationals). Also name one substitute for each player.

    ----------Casillas-----------
    ----------(hart)-----------

    Dani Alves----Pique-----Kompany----------Lahm
    (Sagna)----(Vidic)-----(Ramos)----------(Cole)

    -------Xabi---------Yaya--------------
    -------(Xavi)---------(Pirlo)--------------

    -----------Iniesta----------------
    -----------(Fabregas)----------------

    Messi--------RVP----------Ronaldo
    ( Hazard)--------(Falcao)----------(Neymar)

    Yours?

I wouldn't have Busquets or Pique anywhere near a World XI or reserve.

I would, they are both brilliant attack minded players who are meant to be doing defensive roles. I picked an attacking team. Also Busquets more than anyone knows how to play in a midfield that has Iniesta and Xavi.

With Busquets in your team you get the advantage of the opposition probably finishing the game with 10 men, same with Alves

Same thing happened with Pirlo in the summer. It takes a good performance against an English team for a lot of foreign players to get the recognition they deserve over here. The worst thing about it, is that some of them have been playing at that level for absolutely years.

Sure and our defensive record really backs that hypothesis up.

By that reasoning I'll replace Falcao with Chamakh in my team. He may not score goals but he's still the 'Best in the World'.

Exactly. I doubt anyone in this thread would have mentioned him if he hadn't scored a hattrick against Chelsea.

Chamakh hasn't performed at a level at which you can label him 'The Best in the World', Koscielny has.
