    But it's correctly ruled out that goal. VAR will be good for football.

    VAR may be many things, but good for the game....I doubt it. Football was a good game before.

    I’m still waiting for casting judgement on VAR, however I’d just point out in this instance that VAR didn’t rule out this goal. The referee’s assistant did. He raised his flag and the referee indicated offside. VAR just confirmed, so if there was no VAR, justice would still have been served.

    Goal line technology is a yes-no situation, so I have never had a problem with that. VAR will get other yes=no situations right, but many things are a matter of opinion....all VAR does then is introduce another opinion.
