Franck Ribery has been ruled out the world cup through injury and Radamel Falcao was ruled out the other day. Shame as you want to see all the best players in the world play

Alex Oxlade Chamberlain is a doubt after getting injured the other day.

Anyway who are people tipping to win the World cup?

Spain have to be the favourites again for me and I'm tipping Belgium as the dark horses. They have some squad now. Hazard, Kompany, Coutious, Mignolet, Vertonghen, Vermalen, Miralles, Fellaini, Witsel, Lukaku, Benteke, Mertens, Januzaj, Dembele, De Bruyne

England I think will find it difficult, Ross Barkley I think could be the one to make the difference, I think Uruguay will win the group with the winner of England V Italy going with them

I was just looking at some World Cup betting.

Spain are 4th favourites Proud, if you fancy a flutter?

England are 25/1, which means that if you put £10 on... You will lose £10 <ok>

    Argies to win it.

Belgium can't be dark horses if everyone is tipping them to do well. I'm going to put Bosnia down as my dark horses.

I think England will surpass expectations for the first time in years. Can see us winning the group, beating Columbia and then losing to Spain in the quarters.

They don't have the fullbacks to win it.

The moment they face Brazil, Argentina, Portugal or Spain then they're done for.

    Courtois
    Alderweirld Kompany Vertonghen Vermaelen
    Witsel Dembele
    Hazard De Bruyne Mirallas
    Lukaku

I'm still shocked that they're leaving Nainggolan behind.

Rooney will no doubt play **** even though we all know he can do it for his club side. Woy won't dare drop him, if Smalling and Jones play I'll just cry. Oh England please prove me and the doubters wrong. I seriously think leicester have a better chance of a top 4 finish than England reaching the semis.

I went to the England game today. Same old **** lol. Barkley should be given a chance only one who tried to make something happen. Glen Johnson is terrible

England aren't exactly proving themselves against even the mediocre South American sides. I think England are better than they were in 2010 but lots of other teams have overtaken them. Admittedly, the expectations have never been lower going into a major tournament so we could surprise. France are often a decent bet at World Cups- they'll either do much better than expected or completely implode, at least in recent memory. Personally, I wouldn't bet against Spain doing it again, although I'm also backing Germany (the best side) and Brazil (home advantage).

Just to chip in here, France put 8 past Wes and the Jamaican team tonight. Quite a fair few English based players in the Reggae Boys side.

Bit of a pasting but pretty meaningless.

Lukaku limped off injured for Belgium today. Him and Benteke out would probably put paid to their hopes of progressing very far

They can put Mirallas up front and move Fellaini into the midfield

Is a big blow but they can cover for it
