What Should the FA Do?

  1. Contact their lawyers and persue a full refund of monies spent and take it all the way

    10.0%
  2. Put in a claim for money back and settle for something without risking a big legal bill

    30.0%
  3. Demand that the World Cup's in 2018 and 2022 are taken away from Russia/Qatar and a re-bid process

    50.0%
  4. Do nothing because we will never get anything

    10.0%

I voted for the first option.

I also think we should walk away from FIFA, its corruption and anti-English 'racism'. There will be plenty of countries that would support the idea of an alternative, transparent world football organisation.

Certainly there would be alot of countries in UEFA that would support a breakaway - would need to get South America onside as well

Went for the 3rd option as it's come to light that awards were made before the voting was even complete.

The FA have shown a distinct lack of balls over the years, so it will be interesting to see what, if anything, happens.

    1) would take years, but on side would be the other countries that spent money and are in the same position as us
    3) to late to take away Russia but no reason the Qatar one couldn't be, however Russia should be made to pay a "sum " into a general fund to compensate the FA'S of the countries who battled a lost cause.
    4) This is usually the way " oh well lets put it down to experience and tidy up the loose ends so it will not happen again "

SO 2 ) The countries damaged by the awarding of the Russia WC should apply for a one off payment in lieu of monies needlessly spent. it should leave FIFA WITH A CLEAN SLATE that is enough money to pay the rent/ running costs of the HQ for 1 year. Salaries to be funded by monies that are paid in after day 1 from sponsers etc. A whole new team, not necessarily get rid of all existing, but any tainted people sued for lost money etc.

The 2018 tournament should be postponed for 2 years and re-voting carried out fairly.

There are so many people that have already booked up for Russia it wont happen, they could however as previously stated use all gate receipt monies to reimburse the hard done by
Qatar however is a different kettle of fish...

Anyone, and all countries, involved should be banned for life and monies repaid to the F.A. for their wasted expenses. This affair is a blight on the sport but regrettably a sad tale of the times in which we live. Corruption rules the day and to hell with fairness and respect, and just in case you hadn't noticed most of the corrupted are foreigners including one notable bad ass from CONCACAF.

Is there anything left in this world that is original and safe anymore?

There isn't a voting option for me.

Wish we would walk away, end of.
The thought of appeasing those cheating ba**ards makes my blood boil and even the sodding Germans have been caught in bribery allegations.
I couldn't care a jot about the upcoming meaningless friendlies for over-paid prima donnas - They have ruined next weekend.

Hope we disband the National team and make Dyke and his cronies get a real job.

Would it then have to be played the same time as the Euro's or will they have a week or two's break?

RP - I think this sums up how disillusioned most of us feel about FIFA and to a certain extent the FA
Dyke is all mouth and no trousers in my opinion

**** the euros, this is bigger than that, it all needs re-setting and done morally and correctly. The Euros are turning in to a money spinner with more teams and numerous locations for each tournament anyway.

I can well remember posts on here saying 'we all know they are at it, better to play the game with them'

FIFA were taking my money when this was happening, I have spent many thousands of pounds during the last 5 world cups and I'm ****in pissed off about it!

I was going to say that full fat Horlicks hasn't changed that much over the years. Not sure if you can get it in Canada though.

And I think people have only uncovered the tip of the iceberg.....
What goes in the EPL is probably equally shocking.
I gave up following England years ago, and I don't regret it.
The fact that the previously blame free Germans are now suddenly implicated in fraud, plus all of the dodgy goings on with VW that have come out, paints a very shady picture of them. But they're not alone. Whether it's football or cars, people will always look for loopholes and ways of conning others.

Hopefully not angelic. Hate the stuff but still love English football despite it's obvious flaws.

East Germans were "alledgedly" cheats and now it is an integrated society so it is likely there could be a little spill over if the former was true
