MikeGills32 - I agree - the competition does not start until June, so I may use the lottery to decide who gets what team. I just need to put something together that will work. I believe this way everyone will be able to see that the draw was done fairly.
Currently I have used numbers between 1-41 the post numbers for 30 sweepstakes. The lottery goes up to number 49. So i will need to reserve two posts of the next six for the remaining two entries, to take us to 32. I will delete posts between now and post 49 if I need to reserve space.

I'll draw the sweepstake over the coming weeks as follows;
As from now, I will use the normally twice weekly lotto draw, however, i will draw them on the final ascending order using the seven lotto numbers including the bonus ball (not the order they were drawn) to select the member numbers. To be placed in sequence against the participant countries.
So for example if the first of the six balls in ascending order for a lotto draw is number 2 - brb will be placed against Russia.
If the next ball in ascending order is 13, then GeminiSwiftgfc would be placed against Japan.
If the next ball is number 23, no member has this number and it will therefore be completely ignored.
Note the bonus ball will always be used as the final number outside of the ascending order for any subsequent draw.
Once a number is drawn it is naturally ignored in future draws, until all members numbers have been placed against a country. Hopefully before June!
As we currently have one sweepstake place unallocated, I have automatically selected Iran the final country on the list to remain unallocated. Unless the final place is filled before completion of the draw.

I was going to suggest that you allocate the final number to Steve Evans - but would he be glad it's Iran and nothing to do with Scotland ?

Yes. I will allocate you the final place and number 49 rather than delete posts to make it fit. Hence this now means Iran will be re-included in the draw.
