Swear words allowed, but it is a MAG publication, so the truth may be a bit twisted, to say the least, or just pure mischief.

Newcastle United RSS Feed Dennis Tueart will long be remembered as a Sunderland player, and rightly so.

But the Newcastle-born Manchester City legend is the only player to walk up those Wembley steps WEARING a Newcastle Utd shirt ... to get a League Cup winners medal!

We lost 2-1 to City back in 1976 (I remember it well), and the Geordie-born winger swapped shirts to get his medal.

But ... as he told us ... he "loves" Sunderland and Man City - and wants to tell City fans Sunderland will NOT ‘roll over’ against Manchester United on the final day of the season.

Blues fans have been alarmed by comments from the Mackem Leprechaun (Martin O’Neill) that he would like to field some of his fringe players in the remaining games of the season.

Tueart: “I know Martin well, and one thing he would not do is disrespect the Sunderland supporters, and the Manchester City supporters – he knows more than most how passionate both sets of fans are.

“Martin is no crony of Sir Alex Ferguson and won’t be looking to do him any favours.”
