Well he was given more of a chance than Sammon has been given by some on here..... I don't think he is consistent enough.

As has already been said, hopefully this is to clear some space in the squad for an attacking midfielder who will actually make the difference. Wordy has been trying but he's not exactly a revelation is he? The way Mick does things I wouldn't be surprised if he already has somebody lined up. We're all waiting for the premier league 25's to be named and then we could see some loan action. <graspsdesperatleyatstraws>

Offer Ambrose and Collison a deal, then crikey our ordinary midfield will suddenly become a decent one. Not too worried if Wordy is off SO LONG as we have a signing or two on the way.......... and I think they will be just a case of when.
Similarly not sorry to see Wordsworth go .In my opinion he's another of those nothing signings who really weren't much better than what we already had.
Wordsworth is hardly fantastic but we do need a squad. If its him out and a player capable of making a difference to the first team thats fine but if its to allow a loan then its another backward step for me. I take it MM feels Bru is also a better prospect so it will be interesting to see how he performs this season. Our squad still seems very small though.
