Wordsworth?.

As a follow up to the article on Anthony Wordsworth, anyone who went to Colchester for the game care to comment on how he played?.

 

Game seemed to pass him by. Displayed usual nice touches and short passing was neat, but in truth anything he tried to do he had 2 CAFC players on him.

 

I didn't look out for him as I couldn't identify him on the pitch so thought I'd work backwards and identify any players that did stand out.

No impact on the game for Wordsworth. The only players that did anything was that huge tank up front gave Morrison more than a handful to deal with and O'Toole was getting stuck in that's about it from Colchester really

 

Didn't we release him, along with green and boyd?

I take it we were in the prem at the time?

If so still is a correct decision

 

Yeah- this goes back years and years. Think they were released quite young too- 15 and 16.

 

i think he went on then to palarse then moved to colchester,his cousen i know massive gooner fan aparantly said he was on a brink of a move to sheff utd but due to their relegation deal was cancelled last minute is valued at 750-800k what i gather,he always texts me when he scores saying yes yes yes get in so i think we should at least make a move and he lives in london so would be ideal

 

he can play right midfield ,anywhere in midfield wing and up front

 

He aint good enough for us.

 

If Alonso can't get in the team why would Wordsworth?
