Anthony Wordsworth is being loaned out in order to get some game time as he cant at present force his way into our starting line up or indeed on to the bench at the moment! It is being reported that Colchester and MK Dons are both interested in taking him on loan. In my opinion I think this will be a good move for him and a good move for us! I just do not think that he is up to Championship standard at the moment and he obviously doesn't do enough in training for Mick to select him. I think he will be gone in January! What do you guys reckon?

Bye Woody, thanks for your excellent service last season. Good luck with your next club.

I disagree..... in that I don't think Mick will be letting him leave in January.

We have a relatively thin squad and so a couple of injuries and/or suspensions and we are going to be in serious trouble. I also think Woody has a potential future here. He is (at time of writing) MM's record signing for us and I can't see that changing anytime soon.

I think a loan will do him some good and I fancy he'll come back and continue to be a handy squad player for us up until the summer at the very least.

MM may well be reluctant to sell him so he may remain in the squad, I see your point on that, although almost a third of the way into this season & we have not needed him so far....If we are still around the position we are in now or better surely ME will let MM bring in a couple of players to kick on for the remainder of the season.?

I thought it was an unlike Mick signing at the time, a player known for his technical ability but one that has a questionable work rate and goes missing from games isn't normally Micks type of player and so far that has been proven.

There's clearly a good player in there but whether he can up his level is a different matter and not really sure where he fits in in a 442, as with all out creative/best technical players we've had recently he I think would be suited in the free role behind the striker/strikers
