Seems like 'xenophobia' has become this seasons word of choice.

    The media
    The FA
    Fergie

Seems us United fans are out of the loop as we are the only set of fans who dont seem to use the word.

Is this reference to foreigners diving, and the Brits getting pref treatment from the refs?

Same thing gets said every year about Jonny diving and the Brits getting favours from the refs. I am sure Mancini said something last season, and Wenger or Mouriniho has mentioned it in the past.

    All this is not surprising.

A mild form of "Xenophobia" is pretty universal in the press, media and most of public life. To be fair it is not only present in this country. The press is constantly on about foreigners: including digs at the germans, the French, The belgians, Italians, East Europeans etc. People in public life are constantly on about people from the rest of Europe coming to this country to take advanatge of our benefits system, health care and other things.

It probably more prevalent in some other european countries. If you read the foreign press, it is denigrating of the brits from time to time. It was worse duing the London 2012. The foreign press was constantly questioning every gold medal that was won by a brit.

It is an us and them mentality. It exists everywhere.

Its because some fans of clubs are pathetic ****s always looking to act the victim. Not any particular club but clubs in general. Oh no the big bad brit said my teams foreign players do this or that, hes clearly a xenophobe.

I mean are these ****wits being deliberately stupid or is it by accident?

The clubs, media outlets and more who say these things usually have several if not 100s of foreign employees and in some cases say the same or similar things about the british aswell.

Each and every person who makes this xenophobic claim can simply **** off.
