Should be a good game. Aberdeen have got off to a good start and signed a couple of decent players in the summer. Be interesting to see what team Lennon puts out with Kazakhstan in mind.

Same here, because its only celtic i think Derek will put out a weaker team & save the better players to mount a challenge later in the season!!!
It's not because I think a weakend team could walk over the Dons, I just think it's so early in the season that a defeat or a draw would not be a disaster, the CL qualifier is more important right now.
First team will play, Aberdeen are our main rivals IMO and a win would is want we want. We could rest players next weekend after the travel has taken its toll not before.
Aye, just what I was thinking Johnny. We will never keep up that long. Some people up here are getting ahead of themselves, we've only played 2 games ffs, admittedly we have looked good. But steady on ffs. Celtic really should be winning this comfortably. Anything less than a 4-0 win for Celtic will be an unmitigated disaster.
Early in the season... Hearts are so ****e that this is now our hardest away game... I'll take a draw and no injuries right now. Aberdeen have added to their squad and are on a decent run thus far and it looks like we'll have Moyokoulo and Mulgrew as centre halves. They'll come roaring out the blocks, I reckon. Same goes for Tuesday - score draw and no injuries, get them back to Parkhead. I've rarely been less confident but it's early and arguably the only game we won't be expected to win all season.
You would think it would be obvious that referred to league games since a draw on Tuesday would be acceptable... One of my wee dandy cousins is going - it's his first game in years so at least the game is proving a bit of a draw.

Even with the additions to the squad, we still have Clangers in goal & Robson is out for at least a month with a knee injury already, so aye it could be another cricket score!!!
