Again this weekend i sat down with a beer to see the scores coming in down the pub,

is it just me, or is Chris Woods just scoring to annoy us? what did we ever do to him?

every saturday Woods Goal Leicester 11 mins 18 mins.....

a little bit of my soul dies! next week if he gets another early goal i might turn into the hulk and smash a TV into tiny pieces!

Leicester look like they will be challenging for autos while realistically the best we can hope for is a playoff place so the more Wood scores the more likely it will mean that teams challenging us for 6th place are going to lose!

Do any of you guys quietly wish the management had raised the offer further to try and get him? I know they said they were not going about £1m (was it?) but if he is scoring at the rate he is then he must have been worth the effort.

I really do think you have missed out on any chance the play offs with losing out on him because I can't see who else is going to come in and score as many a she did for you.

No Thai - I am glad we are not paying a player double what the next highest earner is getting - would disrupt our dressing room which is doing very nicely thank you <ok>

okay, I didn't realise the wages being sought were going to be that high but I guess having come from a PL side he was likely to want a bit more than average. Fair play to the board <ok>

Thing is Leicester City Pay silly wages and silly fee's to nab the players they want! we gave Woods a chance and he scored goals and he could have gone to a prem club in the 2 season and quadrupled his money now.. good luck to him!

Once we have a new striker we'll get this whole stupid issue in to perspective.

We have some great players at present and as TC says the dressing room is humming. Strikers on silly money poison that atmosphere.

We've currently got a great defence and DF is doing some good stuff again (and I've not been a big fan - but can see how he's now improved). The midfield works well and the problem is that the strikers now look a touch 'ok' - not great (I exclude Keogh from that who is magic) and Woolford who is unknown. I'd be delighted if any of our other strikers (Hendo, NGuessan, Batt, Marquis or even O'Brien or Wilkinson) hit a seam of gold - because we need that to mainitain our tilt at the play offs.

When big clubs show an interest you can't blame Leeds players for jumping ship.

Unfortunately for Leeds, that means 50 clubs they have to fend off <yikes>
