On here i normally post well-balanced sensible views, but you have come over and just been totally ridiculous talking about things you dont understand. I enjoy others peoples fans coming over for a discussion but you are clearly nothing more than a bitter fan who cant get over losing a loan player to a bigger club.

You then complained about our wage structure despite the fact we have shipped out Danns, Beckford, Mills etc and NP also tried to replace Konch if i remember right but was unable to and instead have bought in young improving players whos values have done nothing but increased.

You then claimed we 'havent even won anything' which we clearly have, as my post said.

I may come across as a prick, yes, but at least its a prick on my own board who actually knows what he is talking about.

You may have shipped them out Ed, but you then replaced them with James, Vardy, De Laet, Futacs, Whitbread, Knockaert, and now Wood - you are spending much much more than your attendances would allow if the FFP rules were in place already <ok>

They wont be on big wages. Are we not allowed to sign players anymore without being told we are paying the poor lads? Knockhaert came from a small french team, De Laet and James came from an academy (effectively), Vardy came from non league, Futacs was out of contract and from sodding portsmouth, doubt they were on much! Whitbread was a crocked man so i doubt many were queueing to pay him much. Oh course we replaced them otherwise we wouldnt be able to field a team. Im not having a go (it may seem it but i dont know how else to word it) but what is your point?

This tells you all you need to know about the Leicester City gamble - and it doesn't include wages <ok>

Not sure it tells me all I need to know TC (for instance the comparative wage bills would have been useful). It does highlight the 'war chest' given to Sven last season which was, in hindsight, poorly used - but is being clawed back little by little by moving on some of those 'ill-judged' purchases - Mills and Beckford in particular ..

More interestingly we appear to be only 8th in terms of 2012/13 spend, which may surprise a fair number of people ...

The point is Ed, for weeks you lot have been saying Wood "chose" Leicester because of promotion prospects and not the money - I knew different, but you weren't having it - every time you raised the stakes, we matched it initially - until the wages got silly and we bowed out - Wood wanted to stay at Millwall, but his Dad persuaded him to follow the money <ok>

I never claimed you haven't won anything, i said you haven't won anything yet(since your last takeover, although we can also include the one before that).
You keep saying i'm bitter, well thats news to me, i trust that our chairman will run the club without selling the family silver just to inflate his own ego.
Read TC'S reply he knows what he's on about.

Fosse - It is when take into account that the figure includes the £2.2M you received for Mills <ok>

You cannot believe that he only joined us for money, if he has any ambition for the premier league he was better to join us than you, thats just the way it is. We are better than you and have better backing. Thats not wumming, thats fact. It is more likely that his career will go further here.

May i ask how you 'know' different? How do you know that his dad told him to follow the money?

You didnt say since our last takeover, how on earth were we meant to guess that. If you posted the same sentence on the Leeds board you would get a similar response to mine.

You do have a good chairman who wont break the bank, thats crucial and you operate within your means.

And you are bitter as your previous posts show, otherwise you wouldnt be on here in the first place banging on about Wood. If you didnt care you simply wouldnt be on here.

He signed for you a couple of weeks after we comfortably beat you Ed - and that's not wumming <ok>

TC - I'm probably a little older than most of the posters on here and hence my notion of club loyalty etc ihas long since been tainted by abject cynicism - Wood may indeed have been duly impressed by our setup, average attendance and Premiership potential / ambition - but the deciding factor, undeniably (and sadly inevitably in this day and age), would have been the financial rewards (current and potential - which does bring in those other factors to some degree) - and his father is only doing what all father's would do in similar circumstances -

The allure of, and loyalty to, our (beloved) club for Wood is likely to last only as long as it takes for a 'Big club' to note his form and attempt to sign him - all you can reasonably expect as a football fan these days is that, should he reach those heights, his contract with us will result in a bumper pay-day ... sad but true...

Bradford beat Arsenal. Your right, their a better team. I forgot that they decide i on head to head rather than the table.

Of course finances will play a part. One day a better club than us will come in and pay more and offer him better football. Thats what we did and its just the football system. Thats what we did to Millwall and someone will do it to us (probably knockheart) but the difference is we actually own him. With better pay usually comes better football and prospects, which is what came with our better pay.

What do you mean, won any trophies as yet? Since our new owners have come in? No, we haven't.

In the entire history of our club, yes, of course have.
Jack asked the question

What do you mean, won any trophies as yet? Since our new owners have come in? No, we haven't. You're getting there

In the entire history of our club, yes, of course have.Be serious did you really think i meant ever?
I answered

**** knows what you're going on about here, you sound bitter.<laugh>

Fair enough, but that table is a little misleading e.g the real spenders this season are

Blackburn £15m
Wolves £13.5m
Cardiff £11m

and both Hull and Forest have also spent more than us ...

<laugh>

Bradford beat Arsenal even though they only had 4 shots v Arsenals 28 - But I suppose the 2 shots that Bradford had in the 2nd half was 1 more than Leicester had against us in the 2nd half so you may have a point <cheers>

It's pretty hard to have won anything since our last takeover since it was earlier this season... But you know fickle fans these days expect instant success
