This place is just one great big grammatical furnace ..

You missed a . from your ellipsis.

Regarding this article, "thought to be around £20k" should read "we like to think he's been paid a ridiculous amount which Millwall were sensible enough not to match, because clearly he's done it for the money and not because Leicester are a bigger club with a better reputation and more ambition higher up the league."

You sound like a Portsmouth fan.

'Hey ho, that's life' sounds nothing like 'Play Up Pompey' ....

.. actually just being circumspect ... £20k a week is absolutely daft to the likes of you and me ... but in the fake footballing world where QPR are paying Bosingwa and their other dross £75k a week, it just becomes relative madness ... he's scored 3 in 2 games so far (plus created at least one) ... if that is what it takes to reach the Premier League Promised Land and is within the financial comfort zone of our owners' ambitious 'hobby' then who am I to comment?

THis isn't a pop - but what was Bullard reported to be on with you lot?

I missed it the first time ....

It seems that nobody down the Millwall end knows how much they were willing to pay.

If they're trying to keep their fans happy they'd do well to not keep going on about it.

Was told before you bought him that you were offering ridiculous money to nick him off us - we were never going to win a war of wallets against a club whose owners have already thrown £16M onto the promotion roulette wheel - good luck to Leicester though - makes us appreciate how great kenny Jackett is compared to "other" managers <ok>

And the winner for passive aggressive comment of 2013 goes to TC - Congratulations mate <ok>

Thanks <ok>

Now can you tell your board to stop paying Championship players Premiership wages so the rest of us can sign some quality <cheers>

Err no - I'm not a caring responsible member of the football community - Personally I don't care how we beat the Championship paupers, just so long as we do <ok>

I think the main difference is a 22k per week average amount of fans compared to your 8k.

<laugh> Our lowest attendance is higher than your highest attendance

I'm impressed, its a pity the majority are like mutes, then everyone would be talking about the 'Leicester Roar' whenever they visit the Walkers Stadium or whoever it is that now sponsors the name of the ground, it must embarrass you knowing that a little London club with half the gates you attract are known the world over for the noise they generate?
Anyway you go and console yourself safe in the knowledge you can pay over the odds for players in your quest to achieve Premiership football where you'll have to pay even more over the odds for players whilst attracting another 10,000 mutelike fans to generate an atmosphere reminiscent of the Crucible during the Snooker championships.:smiley-finger007:

Yep, that's what it's all about, who cares about trophies and trying to win things when you have the loudest fans?

I imagine people the world over wouldn't be able to tell you who won the Champions League in 2012, or who Chelsea even are, but everyone knows Millwall <ok>

You haven't won any trophies as yet Jack and if you fail to do so by next season you'll find yourself being outbid by 'bigger clubs' when you bring the best out of a loanee.<laugh>
