http://www.chroniclelive.co.uk/spor...newcastle-united-keeper-fred-woodman-10797377 Looks like Liverpool are keeping tabs on our young international. He is of course the next big thing and set to be Englands keeper until 2053. With that in mind I'm sure we can come to some arrangement with those generous Liverpudlians.
Cracking prospect and if he continues his progress I can see him in our 1st team squad within a couple of years. However, by playing so well at International level you can see all the big boys will be sniffing around him very soon.
Someone knows the way to Mikes heart (I'd suggest a pie though and probably not taint the deal with Mignolet)
Don't think you can have sell on clauses with loan deals - which is surely what you're talking about for only £30 million??
If it's Liverpool after him they can pay £200 million, give us 95% of future ticket revenue for every home game at Anfield and pay us 30% of every player they sell in the future.
If Woodman can't get ahead of the GK's we have at NUFC, how does he think he'll benefit by moving to Liverpool? He's going to either sit on the bench or be loaned-out. That's just where he is in terms of his career. I read that he wants to go back to Crawley Town on loan to 'finish what he started' with them.
Hearing his contract runs out in June and as of yet he hasn't began renegotiation. Should this be the case and he's off then only compensation for us and no fee.
