If he stays at Millwall they might beat us at their place, but he might also help them to beat most of our rivals which would even out. However if he went to Leicester he could help them win say ten games which could see them above us. BTW Are Cardiff, Palace and Boro targetting any strikers and if so who?
Is he really that good or in a purple patch. I would suggest WBA would hang on if they thought he was all that
I can't keep off it myself even today, think it's the fear of missing some breaking news or juicy gossips!
For me.....I just keep coming on here for a look (and the odd posting) but it's because of the tension over tomorrow and the game with Leicester. And I've just watched Arnold Lane's posting of the YouTube 'City's Prem Goals'. It's doin me eddin!
Just because WBA have agreed fees with Millwall and Leicester doesn't mean a deal is done, if other clubs want to move in and offer the same price then its down to who Wood wants to go to so if City have any interest then its up to them
Millwall have "agreed a fee" with Millwall 3/4 times now each time WBA come back a couple weeks later saying they want more. It's not over till he signs on the dotted line
All these posts make valid points. I would suggest the Chris Wood deal is FAR from being done. SSN report that all bidders for his services have just under a week before the chase for Chris Wood realy hots up. Brighton are also keen on him especially if they lose CMS to Norwich. Lesta are supposed to be after Charlie Austin.
I agree this a still some way to run, didn't we have a fee agree with Liverpool for Ayala only for him to go to Norwich?
Correct. The deal for Ayala was done but we got gazumped by Norwich at the last minute. If Steve Bruce really wants Wood i dont see the others having a chance. But twt as always.
Chris Wood is having a medical at #lcfc tomorrow. Believe the fee is an inital £1.25m with £750k add-ons.
Is he ever fit to play ? More of a sick note at the moment me thinks. True. Brighton have now shown there interested and could offer more IF CMS leaves for Norwich. I doubt that. He still has 2 games left to play for Millwall first. Clubs moving into position ready and waiting for the OFF.
