What a goal from Chris Wood last night at Northampton. Martyn Waghorn and Chris Wood have linked up together pretty well during pre season with both getting on the score sheet a few times. David Nugent has had an injury to deal with over pre season and Jamie Vardy has looked good but still doesnt look like scoring in a month of sundays

So should David Nugent miss out on Saturday I think Wood and Waggy will get the nod. As a footballer I think Waghorn is the best striker at the club put is erratic finishing really lets him down. When he gets run of games his all round player is superb. He just needs to learn to get a clinical edge

Just an advantage of having Kasper. He can put the ball into the oppositions box from a goal kick

Make your mind up <doh> One post you're moaning that we play hoofball, the next you're moaning that we keep it!

That is one of the things I liked about Kasper, his long kicking is very good. Nothing compared to Paul Robinson but still very good.

Kenny struggles to kick it out of his own half <doh>

Just viewing from afar but I get the impression that Wood and Waghorn don't really like each other. In any goal celebration their reaction toward each other is very muted. Either that or they don't like the fact that they may be competing for the same place. Not sure how that helps with team culture or selection, its just something I have noticed for a while.

I would put him 4th behind Wood, Nugent and Shlupp.

Lets see if he proves me wrong on Sat.

As long as they are professional and play well together, I don't care if they don't hang out after the game - Andy Cole and Teddy Sheringham famously hated each other and never spoke a word off the pitch yet they won the Premiership a couple of times and the Champions League together.

I think Waggy is a better footballer then all of them. Waggy just need needs some consistency

Its pretty much make or break for Waggy this season

Its make or break for Waggy, Vardy and imo Schlupp, Schlupp has been on the fringe for a while without really impressing as a forward, and is a fairly unknown entity as a left back, although that looks over now Bakayogo is in as competition for Konch.

They will haveto take the opportunity when they get it, if Wood or Nuge get injured, or else i cant see them staying.
