I wonder if we will be buying in January. The friction between owner and manager, the concern about how the money was spent, and the league position will all have to be taken into account.

I think that we should not be expecting much in the new transfer window, but the right players brought in on loan may well be enough anyway. Three good loan signing such as Zaha, a left back, and a central midfielder, would be welcome anyway.

The lead up to the window will be interesting.

Personally after all of the recent shenanigans, i would expect Mr Tan to approve maybe a few long term loan signings but nothing with a transfer fee, I see young Healey has been promoted to training with the first team. Could be a hidden gem and totally expect him to get a run out in the FA Cup assuming we draw a lower league side in round 3.

Good to see a youngster getting recognition. Hopefully Harris will too if he continues his good form at Brentford.

I expect some movement in January with a few of those who won't cut it at Prem level (and out on loan already) moving on to free up some capital for incoming. It mustn't be forgotten that the Prem money must also be sloshing around somewhere. It wasn't all spent in the summer so there must be a nice little pot around for use in January. I anticiapte a couple of permanent signings with a loan or two to back it up. We all know the positions where improvements are needed.

Tan reckons we'll make £30M profit this year.

Would like to see on ore two signings in Jan, but not a spate of them.

    £30 mill!
No offence, but if that comes to frutition after your summer spend and wages, I want to be put in touch with your club accountant to help with my finances! You may show a profit, but £30 mill!

If that happens I will change my username to Tantastic for a week.

Still wearing Ben Sherman stuff though, although these days i have it made for me from the shop in Carnaby street, for all of you fashionista's check it out. Harringtons, made to measure shirts and coats. A must for the man about town.

Where in Carnaby Steet? I had a suit there back in the 80's.
