Taken from the Mail Online Portsmouth get more fans to watch League Two draw with Wycombe than QPR manage for Premier League clash against Stoke Eight more fans at Fratton Park than Loftus Road on Saturday. 16,163 watch QPR's 2-2 draw at Stoke, earned by brilliant last minute Nico Kranjcar free-kick 16,171 enjoy Pompey's point at home to Wycombe three divisions lower
Silly question P, they want us to batter QPR, then Chelsea to lose, so a Hampshire team can be top of the Premier League of course!....
I thought discussiing attendances was frowned upon on the Pompey board Dev...... (joke) Credit to the Pompey faithful this season, just shows what a bit of faith does.
Soz Woopert, used your stats to post a little teaser on the QPR board before the Scummers game, hope you dont mind, it seems to have gone down ok though!
Putting things into perspective Pie; we're in LEAGUE TWO remember. Our LOWEST crowd so far this season is 13,648 against Dagenham & Redbridge; an evening mid-week game. That attendance is more than 2,000 more than the highest attendance, so far, not at Fratton Park; that being the 11,418 who watched the Devon Derby between Plymouth and Exeter at Home Park on the 2nd Saturday of the season. Our average so far (15,537) is bettered only by Sheffield Utd in League One and is higher than no less than ELEVEN sides in the Championship!
Over 5000 made the journey to the Emirates for the Capital One Cup midweek. Sorry, I mention attendances again. Sshhhhhh!
Yeah, seems they loved it! "I don't think many QPR fans needed a thread to tell them Portsmouth don't like Southampton. When it gets to this level of interest in your rival, it comes across as petty." Seems that even QPR fans have noticed "this level of interest in your rival" ...... (Obsession, I think it's called)
Oh your back sb3, should have guessed you slid under another rock. In fact I guess your sb means slimy Bas...... What's the prediction for Saints this weekend slimy ?
Pretty decent attendance that. Let's see: £10 tickets for adults Against one of the top teams in the country Journey time from Southampton to London is hardly that long Lots of Southampton fans probably work in London anyway Yes, it's not a bad figure but hardly spectacular all things considered, and anything less than that would be a disappointment.
