Anyone seen the BBC advert for the Derby, i just heard the advert and it tried to claim, unsuccessfully i may add, the Derby is over 2 1/2 miles. Now that would make for an interesting race around Epsom. <party>

Why do these clowns even bother with racing.

    hi Hardy,

as I put in a separate post I dont even think they are going to bother too much with it this afternoon.
Is there anyone actually in charge of sport at the BBC now?

It's a bloody disgrace. I don't have the red button so I've got to endure watching this crap from Paris.

I can't. I'm in the Republic of Ireland. I'm blocked from watching BBC programmes online.

Hardy, you need to get your ears syringed. The trailer for the Derby says two and a half MINUTES.

And the clowns hardly do bother with racing, which I suspect is your real gripe.

    Lucky you Ron.
I tried to complain about it on the BBC TV Messageboards and they closed down my thread. They said that the BBC TV Messageboards are not the correct place to discuss BBC TV sports coverage!! I GIVE UP!!

The thing I'm a bit annoyed about with this advert and the bbc is that I'm trying to find out the music played in the background and there's no-one around to tell me what it is! Does anyone here know what the songs called because I am desperate to find out!
