Seems strange nothing is confirmed as yet.

Middlesborough have apparently said he is signed and they are now looking for striker but I wonder if Albert has signed on the dotted line as Wigan supposedly made another offer could it be that after watching Boro lose to the mighty AS Albert is looking to see what the Wigan offer is?

BBC Points West's Alistair Durden: Albert Adomah's move from Bristol City to Middlesbrough is to be completed tomorrow. As reported, he's signed a three-year deal at the club. Paperwork hasn't gone to Football League yet

Too much excitement for one day and the pen was too heavy.

Been told to rest and put his feet up.

Our new option is better - a 4 man midfield of tacklers and runners who are creative. They may not carve solo right through the opposing defence at will, but they will run all day, can pass to feet, and are compact and tight,, and will not fall apart at the first hurdle. And in JET we have a genuine magician to unlock any door.

I reckon they had a pencil, and Adomah snapped the lead in his eagerness to sign. Now they're waiting for the shops to open to buy a sharpener.

All jokes aside, considering they've just been promoted, I'm surprised to see that Cardiff City didn't try to sign him. I don't think he's anywhere near good enough for the Premier League, but they'd have definitely landed him for £1.5m as a backup player, and if the transfer paid off it'd look like the deal of the year.

Adomah was and is overrated, SoD clearly saw his weakness and i prefer the new set up by a country mile.
