That's a good question based on that article. Still, it's transparent and in any case, it's hard to be overly critical of our benefactors.
Some major bloopers in there showing the committee's choices are not always successful. From those players listed and assuming Reid and Murphy have a much bigger impact next season, the success rate is 50% or thereabouts. That needs to improve to 75% if not more. The biggest concern is VT being able to nominate players, Velikonja and the other guy who came from Belgium (north African, can't remember his name) being horrible examples. I hope they're pulling their fingers out at this early stage. Vaulks, mentioned a couple of days ago is apparently attracting interest from both Sheffield clubs, Norwich and others. Need to get in quick at the start of the window if we want him and others. Get the business done early.
