    More help needed.
    I'm watching NZ v Holland. (I know I know, I can't help myself.:p)

How come these women can be running around flat out like blue arsed flies and keep it up none stop?

Even taking into consideration the longer match time for footy, how come our footballers can't put in this sort of effort.
It angers me when players walk or trot off the pitch and don't look as if they broke sweat.

Sinclair for GBR men, made one run then looked shattered for the rest of the match, how long would he have lasted against these women?

Hockey is a very physically demanding game, much more than what most people believe, which fortunately you have noticed.

The best part of the game is the unlimited substitution swaps, and play isn't stopped either so it flows more, the two CM players will be swapped repeatedly each 10/15 minutes, along with the two wide players changing roughly once ever 25 minutes.

Footballers it seem like to conserve their energy for those one or two sprints in a match in which they can hope to beat a full back by pace alone, as in scott's case, however i believe that it is possible to run for a whole match, all depends on a players commitment to their cardio outside of training, and their mentality.

They can run round longer than men because their lungs are bigger than mens.
I'm not referring to their tits here , it's the fact that they can talk/nag/moan without taking a breath.

Hope our lass doesn't come on here ;)

Heart break for our girls I'm afraid. They've never beaten the Dutch & to go oh so close to beating the World Champions in an Olympics semi-final.
GB v NZ playoff for Bronze which I think GB will win as NZ has played out of their skins to get this far.

Theres some big tough girls in that NZ side.
Wouldn't like to run into them behind Jackie Whites of a night.
