So the Women's European Championships 2013 have already kicked off with Italy drawing against Finland while Sweden v Denmark is about to kick off, it's on BBC3 so you should check it out!

Who do you think will win the tournament and how will England do?!

In all honesty... I really couldn't care any less about the tournament or Women's football as a whole.

One of the best football games I ever watched was USA v Canada at the Olympics in the women's football. So I'm very tempted to check it out...

You should at least give it a try, you might like it. Plus, I fail to see how people can care lots about the Confederation's Cup and then not give an iota about this. It's still football, and England are involved!

Women's football is surreal for me (in a good way). Seeing countries I'd normally associate with dire football playing fantastic football with fantastic tricks is an odd but enjoyable expierence.

    Quite entertaining game so far.

Also some pretty girls on the pitch.:) I suppose that's to be expected with 2 Scandinavian teams.

    EDIT: Goal for Saints!

Easy goal Sweden, good header though. Nice to see a decent crowd.

To be fair they pass the ball better than England's men! England's women will do their usual. Unfortunately Hope Powell is the female equivalent of Stuart Pearce. Horrible tactics (hoof and poor passing) and substitutions.

The Swedish striker, no. 9 Asllani is well fit.
This must be how Fran feels watching Fonte

Why are they all so tanned, I thought they were from Scandinavia?!

To be fair a very good advert for women's football: no goalie howlers, no awful defensive mistakes leading to a goal and good levels of technique, skill and more unusually pace with an excellent atmosphere too. If it was always like this then more people would watch.

It's so refreshing to see respect towards the referee.
