It doesn't seem so long ago that we played our second away match of the season at Wolves. Not a great game in which the ref allowed a certain Mr Henry to kick seven shades of brown stuff out of our players. It was hard to believe that such thuggery should have had a blind eye turned to it, players down all over the field, one can only imagine what would have happened if it had been Joey dishing it out.

As it's been such a long time since that game, maybe it's all been forgiven and forgotten but I just can't see Henry getting away with the same kind of tactics up here. I can't say I've been taking much interest in Wolves performances of late so I don't know if he's cleaned his act up and isn't the thug he used to be ( leopard/spots/change ) but another game like the one down there and he'll no doubt get his just deserts. I only hope it doesn't end up with one of our guys getting what Henry should have got in the first place, a red!

I can't see it being a free flowing game of pure football but as long as we get three very important points I'll be happy. With another game against a midlands team the following week ( Villa and a double ) we could be starting to look forward a bit and breathe easily instead of looking over our shoulders and biting our fingernails. With a game against Brum on the 7th May the midlands might have provided us with 9 points on the run in and at least another season in the Prem.

It'll be nice to go to Chelsea with a clear mind and be able to give them a good game ( a repeat of our CC game down there would be very nice ) and finish our away programme off in style.

That would leave us to have a party atmosphere up here against West Brom on the 22cnd and bring the season to a happy end.

I've not forgotten and I've not forgiven the FA for the hypocrisy with which they've handled every subsequent Newcastle player's indiscretion!

When national newspapers, managers and pundits are actually laughing at the way one player is being booted around the pitch, deliberately targeted and encourage to react in a vain attempt to get him sent off, and the FA do **** all, I think it just shows how completely blind they are!

    **** them, **** Henry and **** Wolves....It's a must win game!

As for Chelsea, predictions for the game: Luiz and Colo go up for the same ball at a corner, clash and combine to make a Power Ranger-esque MegaZord!

    i like you positivity AB!
I think we should have enough to see off Wolves in what will be a very tight nervous game.
We owe Villa one so hopefully we can get all three points down there but with our defensive record this season that wont be easy.
Then Birmingham, I think they are in big big trouble and are ****e away from home so I would not be happy with anything other then 3points.
Roll on the end of season party against another midlands team when we could have a say on relegation by sending them down, again.

    Midlander!

There can be only none (points wise... for them)

I think we have a good opportunity to get some more points on the board and I still haven't forgotten that Wolves game and the reaction from the media and FA.

Or just stick together like velcro!

I think the Wolves game is a great chance to get some points on the board and a step nearer the magic 40, though I personally think 39 will be enough. It would be great just to get back in the winning habit again, with cup and internationals it's been quite a while since a good winning performance, will have been 6 weeks or something since Brum game.

I am worried. Wolves is one of those games, I am betting on a draw. Wolves keep going and we can't score for ****, a defeat wouldn't surprise me but it would be the downfall.

We haven't won 'one of these games' all season at home. I can't see where our next win is going to come from.

I'm the same, but have a feeling we will just nick it. I know it is a bit early to be making predictioms, but a scrappy 1-0 win with Ferguson scoring on his first PL start...
