The most important game of the season for both clubs. A 6 pointer (unless you ask Sean) Both clubs need the win. Wolves will be without Stephen Ward who serves a one-game suspension after his sending off against Nottingham Forest. Winger Razak Boukari and defender George Elokobi are still unfit to return to action. Bristol City striker Jon Stead is a doubt with a groin injury but Sam Baldock is fit after a calf strain. Defender Louis Carey is back in full training and winger Paul Anderson has recovered from a bug. another award winning thread from Brett! Wolves still have a bunch of useful players from the premiership, but what's in our favour Saunders seems to be a ****e manager where as our Sean has been getting the best out of our boys
MATCH FACTS Head-to-head • Wolves took their unbeaten sequence against Bristol City to nine with the 4-1 victory at Ashton Gate three months ago. First-half goals from Sylvan Ebanks-Blake and Bjorn Sigurdarson with a Kevin Doyle double sandwiched in between were more than enough to end a nine-match winless run for Stale Solbakken's struggling side. • Bristol City have only taken three of a possible 27 points off Wolves since a 2-1 home win in December 1993, and have only beaten them once in 24 league visits to Molineux; 1-0 in March 1931 in the old Second Division. • Wolves have scored 100 goals in competitive matches against the Robins, 50 of which were in league games at Molineux. Wolverhampton Wanderers • A vitally important six-pointer for Wolves, who are locked between Peterborough and Bristol City in the relegation zone, all on 39 points two points from safety. • Wanderers are the only club with just one Championship win in 2013, and Dean Saunders is still looking for a first home victory as manager and an end to a seven-match winless league run at Molineux. • The Black Country club is one of two not to have won a Championship match this season after the opening goal was conceded. • If picked, Dave Edwards will be making his 150th appearance for Wolves. Bristol City • Bristol City returned to the foot of the Championship table on Tuesday as a result of Barnsley's win over Brighton, but they are unbeaten in four (W2, D2), and have not conceded in three. • Sean O'Driscoll is still looking for a first away victory as manager, and an end to a seven-match winless sequence on the road. • The Robins have conceded more league goals than any other club in England (65), and have scored just 16 away from home; only Ipswich have netted fewer on their Championship travels. • If Sam Baldock is selected, he'll be making his 150th career league appearance.
Hour and a half and we find out the team sheets Who are we hoping is in the team Heaton Moloney Nyatanga Fontaine Cunningham Adomah Elliott Kelly Skuse Anderson Davies Gerken Carey Bates Howard Pearson Kilkenny Baldock
To be honest mate, your selection would probably be what most of us want. Nothing I would change out of that team apart from maybe drop Adomah to the bench to give Baldock a game, but would be happy with either I wouldn't pick Burns though as he plays for FGR at the moment
No Adomah. Pretty much my team but Pearson instead of Addy. Bristol City FC ‏@bcfctweets #BristolCity v Wolves - Heaton; Moloney, Nyatanga, Fontaine, Cunningham, Anderson, Kelly, Skuse, Elliott, Pearson, Davies.
