They might be **** but in this league every team can suddenly turn it on on the night and give you a game. I don't expect for a minute that it'll be an easy game. I can only think of two or three games in our three Championship seasons which have been 'easy'.
It will definitely be a tough game but confidence should see us through. We need to be winning this game if we want promotion wrapped up before the final day
I have to say I don't like Wolves after they unsettled Hunt when in the PL. If we can relegate them - ****ing brilliant.
Can think of 3 this season; Millwall, Leeds & Huddersfield at home. I agree it won't be an easy game though, although it hasn't stopped me betting on a 4-0 City win.
I remember they had a few dickheads on the old 606 too when the whole Hunt saga was happening and when we got relegated.
True but even Leeds and Huddersfield were only 2-0. Against Leeds it didn't look like we were going to score for all our dominance and against Huddersfield it was 1-0 until injury time.
Yes, but did you ever feel like they were going to score? I'd probably agree on the Leeds game, at half-time there was a bit of worry that we may not score despite all our dominance, but not against Huddersfield, it was probably the most comfortable I've ever been at a City game.
If we can keep it tight for the opening 20 minutes or nick an early goal their confidence is likely to drop. We can't afford to give them any early incentive when they're in such dire straits. As long as we're professional about our performance we should be good enough for 3 points.
I dunno if it's the match or the importance of this week in our club's history, but i'm nerous as hell it at the minute. Mind you, i tend to get nervous about matches i'm not going to. I hope we can win. I'll take a 1-0 win for City.
