Injuries apart, I'd like to see the team for Blackburn picked tomorrow against Wolfsburg. Maybe limit it to a maximum of 3 unforced substitutions like league games as well.

Plenty of speculation what that team tomorrow might be, and I'm not too fussed about those involved as long as Ole has got his own thoughts focused.

Don't want to see a radical change between tomorrow and Blackburn next Friday.

I agree but i havent a clue what the line up should be Digachoi or whatever his name is looked well overweight to me.

Who will play the defensive midfield role? Who are the best full backs , centre half pairings , best striker combination? Best formation.

Weve got the squad to walk the league. Have we got the manager? No evidence that we have from last season.

Time for Ole to show hes the man for the job.

Dikgacoi does look to be behind the others on fitness.

He needs a full game at least tomorrow to sweat some of that summer weight off. Still the best bet we've got at the mo to fill Medel's shoes.

His mobility and tackling were okay at Yeovil but his passing was poor. Trying for the Hollywood ball rather than simple passes to those who were better placed.

Another 6 days of training should see him sharpen up for tomorrow.

    Anyone going to watch online?

Haven't been to a pre-season friendly since being bored to death watching City play Twente Enschede at Ninian about 7 years back.

Maybe that isn't the way it should be, but no apologies - apart from being interesting seeing new players for the first time, as a game these dress rehearsals leave me a bit cold. I'll have a look online instead for this one. <ok>

Bad miss from Le Fondre - then the Krauts go straight back up the other end and it's 0-2.

unstoppable shot but we shouldn't have backed off.

Going forward we look OK, but not sure about the defence.

I don't know which is worse, the overall performance so far from back to front, the atmosphere, that ****ing stand or the bloody kit. LeFondre's miss is like a follow on from last season. If this is the side against Blackburn we will get nothing. We need an enforcer in the middle of the park and a natural goalscorer.
