Deserves his own thread, after another crucial save. Has been incredible this season and what a turnaround from last season after being dropped. He is still a baby in terms of age for a goal-keeper and can truly become one of the best if he carries on like this.
He's been so good since that Villa game. When the Cardiff lad jumped I was thinking "**** they've equalized" and then Chez saves it out of nowhere. What a lad. Easily in the Best 5 GKs in the Prem.
Been waiting for this thread for a few games now On current form he's easily the best keeper in the league, looks back to (and beyond) his best after a shaky season last year.
He's having a very good season. Over the last few games he has made some crucial saves. He has been quick off his line, sensible with playing the ball out, commanding in the air and just looks very comfortable and confident. The best thing is the defense look confident with him behind them.
Chesney, Koscielny, Mertesacker, Flamini diamond is rock solid. Still think Flamini should start ahead of Arteta
Flamini has beenbrilliant this season but tonight Arteta had a very good game, he was tackling well, passing well, showing skill on the ball etc..
I think I've nailed it in terms of relative success this season. We now have players that want to play for each other and not just for themselves. Chezzers is one of the many in this side that loves playing for this club.
The BFG and Poldi have obviously helped him settle in. Must be nice to join a club where your mates are playing.
I won't get carried away yet because he's been in form like this before then gone back to making mistakes but an excellent season so far
Yeah big up to Poldi and BFG. Fun fact I got a Mertesacker shirt the day he signed and I always kept faith. It's great to see a player like Ozil saying he loves the club. So glad that players like Cashley, Nasri, Adebayor etc aren't here to taint minds anymore.
