I was told the Sheff Wed match was live on a site called WWW. Wiz 1, so I tuned in briefly and all I saw was a stationary picture, then the PC was full of viruses which ive just had fixed. Computer man told me that anything not mainstream usually is a site run by hackers, my PCs ok now but don't go anywhere near these obscure sites it really isn't worth it.
You really have to get to know how to use these sites that offer free streaming. The trick is knowing how to navigate all of the pop up adverts and make sure not to click on the wrong 'X' that can send you to places that you don't want to be. In my experience a good anti virus will normally catch most malware and infection attempts but you really are taking a huge risk if you are using a PC to stream video without protection. It's akin to going wild in Bangkok without a rubber, you're gonna get burnt. Personally I stick to sportlemon and firstrowsports only and if I can't find what I'm looking for there then oh well, tough luck.
I can't lie, it does sting a bit! I've been using these things for years, it's usually ok if you don't download anything when it asks. It's normally possible to find your way to the stream through the obstacles.
It's best to use Google Chrome browser with AdBlock installed and as others have said don't download anything!
As others have said, don't download anything. If it tells you that you are missing a plug-in or something choose another link. The streams that seem to work for me have Let On, Wiziwig or P2P4ALL in the top corner and are normally clean streams, of course nothing like TV quality though. Sportlemon is recently new on the scene compared to firstrow and has less trojan attempts etc....for now.
