Is that just wishful thinking Ronny or do you have good inside intel? I'm at the stage of thinking virtually anything would be better than what we have. Could be that rumoured transfers are not progressing because they are Slade's choices, and would not necessarily be wanted by whoever is incoming.
I believe that bellers is being groomed for the job, thats if he will take it, plus DJ would not be a bad mentor. No inside knowledge, but if i owned the club this is the sort of route i would go down, purely on a business decision with the best interests of the club at heart. We have a decent squad, however they are not being coached properly, we did not complete 1 pass in the Hull box last night and that is totally unacceptable. Its time for change, on a selfish point of view i hope Wolves beat us and Slade gets the chop, plus the lack of signings indicates a change is afoot.
Suggested as an option by Gaskell on wol this morning and I'd it take right now. Something definitey going on in the background at the club.
If Slade is axed then will that signal the end for Trollop, Young, Margetson and whoever else sits in the dug out on their mobile phones? ps. I wouldn't hold your breath on a sacking. Tan will just left this season drift out like last season. The results last season from December onwards are becoming a replica of these season's results.
Bellamy would be good for the club in the short term. I'm sure it would put a few more bums on seats, but would undoubtedly be a risk. Putting someone along side him in the short term would help. Not sure Jones is the man though. Like Slade, DJ was very much a 442 merchant. don't believe that would be how Bellamy would want to set up. I'd take it though.
It would add some dynamics for the next few games. Two wins will put us back in the hunt, any later, no good...too late!
I'd rather see someone like Pearson and to a lesser extent Pearce to see the season out. After that see who's available in the close season. Bellamy is too new to the coaching/management game to be thrown into the tail end of a championship season. Although, as an understudy to a decent manager wouldn't be a bad idea.
