PRE SEASON THERE WERE ABOUT 12 TEAMS THAT WERE BING BANDIED ABOUT AS BEING THE TOP CONTENDERS. Well CITY were not one of them...... [ not in any preferred order ] Southampto.......17th Leicester ............................... 3rd Ipswich ................................ 9th Sheff utd ..24th Middsbro ................................ 2nd West Brom ............................... 7th Watford .................................... 11th Norwich ........ 19th Stoke ......................................... 5th Coventry .....................................1st Wrexham ...18th Birmingham ..... 16th CITY 10th were behind all these, but the results have been chaotic for most of these, especially Sheff Utd Ipswich & Norwich. Top 2 usually need to average around 2 -2.2 pts a game [ 90+pts ]... 3rd & 4th around 1.8 - 1.9 [ 83+ pts ] ... 5th & 6th better than 1.6 pts. [ 73 +pts ] example now .... CITY TOP 6 ................ NEED AVERAGE 1.7 pts [ 5 pts for every 9 played for! currently 1.44 pts a game] ..IF Sheff U wants top 2 and now averaged 2.2 [ 37 games ] then they would be on 84 pts!!! IF Norwich wants top 2 and now averaged 2.2 then they would be on 89 pts IF wants top 2 and now averaged 2.2 then they would be on 91 pts on other hand ... Coventry ... Middsbro ... Leicester need average only 2 pts a game for top 2 or just 1.5 /1.6 pts to get top 6, [top 6 win 20 games and lose 14] ???? 90% guaranteed!!! PO's
