    I've been that for a while, so may I be known as something else? (not rude!) <laugh>

    e.g. a tart who knows football, or something like that

    Did you knock off that young lad in work that you fancied? We could call you Mrs Robinson.

    @Tobes - make it so.

    <laugh> No. I left the job, which is just as well. There was an admin review, so I had to go, anyway, as I was on a contract there; but I'd decided it was best to go because of him. When I announced it in the meeting his face dropped a mile.

    For the life of me, I don't know what it was all about. I dont know why he was showing interest in me. Discussed with a counsellor since. And my husband knows some of the story.

    Ancient history. <ok>

    I had a quick look; I don't think I can do it myself.

    I don't trust the mods not to put something rude <doh>

    Seriously Wishi, I didn't realise it was that complex. No offence. I'm middle-aged myself. Let me tell you a politically incorrect story...

    I'm in a management/supervisory role now. When a member of traincrew has what's called a Short Term Planning amendment to their roster (Archers off Prem board would know what that is) I write 'STP' on a post-it and put it on the roster case, then they come to me in the office to pick up their 'STP'. I must have written it quickly ..

    Last week an attractive, new young conductor came up to me with a post-it and said 'Don, have you got an STD for me?'. I'm sorry, but the very, very silly old man in me got a fit of giggles like Dick Van Dyke on the ceiling in Mary Poppins. Someone (not the embarrassed young girl), reported me to HR. Luckily, my (female) manager saw the funny side too, and just told me to 'improve' my handwriting. Thing is Wishi, be proud - at least your young person was actually attracted to you. :emoticon-0138-think

    Go to the Cool Hand Donga thread on the Prem Board and post for further information. :emoticon-0148-yes:

    WTF! You were reported to HR for an innocent mistake? Has that someone got it in for you?

    Yes, it was very flattering at the time, but it was also very scary. I hope it never happens again.

    You need to post on it to get an answer. Several times, indeed. :emoticon-0142-happy

    I actually don’t know your old name(S). There’s a few who have changed names and I can’t keep up!
