Was hoping to get up to Tokyo for the game and a weeks break in Japan, one of the more remarkable countries to visit, sadly Christmas commitments mean I'll be watching on TV instead. Kicks off around 9.30 pm here in OZ, so quite sociable time for us to watch Chelsea live.
Haven't seen any team news, or any other news for that matter, but should be a game we win fairly easily (he says confidently)

Look forward to seeing reactions on here after the match.

It'll seem wierd watching a live match with a 10.30 AM kick off. Normally we're listening to the radio if we're relxaing, but Thursday is the weekly shop which will now have to be delayed until this afternoon!

Seems Luiz is playing in midfield. Something I think you guys have wanted to see for a while?

Chelsea team: Cech; Azpilicueta, Ivanovic, Cahill, Cole; Luiz, Mikel; Oscar, Mata, Hazard; Torres

BBC's call that he is playing in midfield. From the team alone, would guess he was in defence with Cahill, with Ivanovic at right back and the other guy further forward, but I guess they are given the formation.

Oscar needs to help Azpi more down that right. Maybe Moses should come on?

This is good football, how many do you reckon you'll put past them?

Great stuff from the Blues! Apparently they all went out ten pin bowling last night to shake off the jet lag! The lowest points scorer had to serve dinner for the rest. Ashley Cole had the dubious honour! Bring on Corinthians!
Off now to do the weekly shop!

3-1.. a good solid win against a side that had been in Japan for over a week to get over the jet lag. Luiz was impressive as were the three amigos... Sunday will be a good game
