A few weeks ago after qpr had stupiedly fired warnock i posted that the script was being written for warnock to come to leeds, sure enough larry was fired and for the first time for ages I began to feel optomistic as i felt ceartain we would hire warnock ( who is a promoter) but alas if that was going to happen it would have by now, instead some nightmare names are being thrown about, jewell, bruce, keane god help us and lee clarke ? unproven so whats the bleeding point ???? might as well have stuck with larry, great result today against the usual 9 or ten man, but i agree with giving redfearn a go till the rest of the season because if we cant get anyone better than larry ie warnock what was it all for ?????????

Warnock's already applied for the job by all accounts so it's clearly not an issue of having to attract him - the club's name has done that for itself. And honestly, I'd rather see us appoint an inexperienced up-and-comer than an experienced failure like Redfearn. I'm sure he's a lovely bloke and works fine with young and reserve players, but his first team management record is shocking.

Warnock, Antic, Clarke, Di Matteo - all decent candidates. I'm sure we'll go for one of those four unless there's another shock application. But yeah, Warnock is the ideal candidate with his experience and capabilities. Really hope we go for him.

<ok> One-year rolling contracts with Warnock are probably the best idea. Don't want him holding us back if we do get promoted, although I don't expect anyone would be able to survive the top flight on a Bates budget, so it would be a cruel dismissal if he's not backed well.
