Anyone watching or interested? Don’t know too much of the individuals but do enjoy watching the “nutter” sports such as bobsleigh, luge, skeleton and the like. Also like the skiing but not the slalom as why have the gates if you just go through them? Ice hockey also good to watch for the fights if any.
Never heard of lace hockey, but when is it on?? I might have to watch - purely for research purposes of course!! Is it something like this? please log in to view this image
My plan to identify the most pedantic b*****d on the board worked. And for a change, you won. Damn predictive type.
Aye I'll be watching. I like the speed skating brutality. Snowboarding is just great to watch. I like nearly all the events. Ice hockey is always great for a dust up. Ski jumping, alpine, freestyle skiing, bobsleigh, luge, skeleton all great viewing. The danger levels in the events is what makes it great. Takes real skill and bravery.
Thought this was funny: http://southendnewsnetwork.com/news...ualifies-for-second-round-at-winter-olympics/
I used to be somewhat interested but really can't be arsed anymore, I rarely watch any BBC output these days.
Love the Olympics and Winter Olympics - where else can you become an instant expert on sports you know absolutely **** all about spent a good chunk of yesterday watching the Men's Luge - now I know everything there is to know about sliding down an icy course feet first on a tea tray
The coverage has been great too. They have really got into the technical details of each sport. What makes the best the best. This helps in becoming an armchair expert.
I absolutely love it. I'd like to do that cross country skiing where you have to stop and shoot the targets periodically
Watched some of that over the weekend - the guys looked totally knackered at the end. Big effort to pull your heartrate right down from skiing so your ready to shoot I guess
For some reason i like watching those kind of endurance sports. They are so quick at taking out those targets also.
Should have just taken a shotgun. Wouldn’t have missed that way and wouldn’t have had to worry about heart rate.
You know Sport is ****ed up when someone fails a dope test in Curling. https://www.google.co.uk/amp/s/amp....s-russian-athlete-reportedly-fails-drugs-test
What a surprise it’s another Russian. As a country they should be banned from ALL sporting competitions for 4 years. The IOC and IAAF are probably scared they will get invaded.
