can not be under estimated . also , can it be that players will have to EARN their starts ........... unheard of...... There is potential for success in this squad .
my hope is that Theo will get a real buzz off this . I think he is one of the most important players in this squad. We sure do miss him. just before his injury he was TOP quality .
A winning mentality is what a title challenging team needs before anything. Last seasons FA cup win was exactly what we needed. I dont want us to go backwards from that and after what ive seen today we are very much on course. 1st trophy of the season should shut the ****ers up for a while.
For all the while the Spuds mocked us for not winning a trophy, we've just gone and doubled their trophy haul in the last 25 years in 3 months
Also agree about not underestimating the effect this win will have on the squad. I mentioned it on the match thread, that you cannot underestimate how this will boost the confidence of these players. We've got shot of those players who had one foot in and one foot out of this club and we now have a great squad of players who want to fight for the Arsenal.
Their website claims the Sun International Challenge Trophy (Swaziland) Winners: 1983, so I think it's reasonable for us to claim the Emirates Cup wins and everything our women have achieved....
