Winners in the centre!

Now that this Cabaye deal seems like its getting closer to being rubber stamped, if not already so, I think its a great signing, to be honest I had no idea who he was today but I've heard good things and it dawned upon me that we would have a central midfield pairing of two players who have won the league at their old and current clubs recently.

I think its extremely important to have that sort of winning mentality in the centre midfield which is one of the most competitive areas on the pitch, him and Tiote both having won the league will have that mentality to win everything and compete for everything.

Not sure if this could be another factor in how we are buying players but it seems like a very good idea.

Ben Arfa, Tiote, Cabaye, all won things recently if I'm not mistaken?

 

I think Ben Arfa won the french league with Lyon. Not sure if he won it with Marseille
