So far the losers are Plymouth and Ipswich promoted and Forest Green and Accrington relegated And the winners are Reading Blackpool and Wigan relegated and Leyton Orient and Stevenage promoted With 2 losing promotion and 2 relegation places to be decided And 2 winning promotion places to be decided Confused you will be
So the season has ended and we say au revoir to The Pilgrims The Tractor Boys and The Owls and good by to the franchise, Shrimps, Stanley and the green and wish some of them luck for next season they will need it, and we congratulate and welcome back the O's, Boro, Cobblers and Cumbrians and also welcome back the Royals, Seasiders and Tics and we are looking forward to talking lots of points of all seven teams
Just thankful that Stockport didn't join us in League 1! Sorry to say that I still haven't recovered from the Jim Gannon era, the awful away end, over zealous stewards and dump of a place. On top of that, i've never seen us win up there. On the downside for the clubs finances, Sheff Wed & Ipswich have deservedly taken their place in the Championship. It's likely our average attendance will dip because of this as they used to always sell out their allocation and a bit more!
Plymouth as well would fill their end the only team out of the 3 coming down & four coming up who are likely to fill the away end is Reading
But on the plus side the four teams coming up will bring more fans than the ****e that went down and we have closer away games so overall I think it not a bad swap
