Will messers C.Martin and K.Smith get a chance to prove their worth by the new manager? My mate is a Palace fan and said what we all know, Chrissy drifts in and out of a game like the tide at Southend....well, more or less just ****s off really. Was it a personality clash with him and Lambo? Time will tell...but he's capable of playing when it suits...

Also, message to the new manager (CH)...give Culverhouse a coaching role please...

    Thanks.

Korey Smith definitely, I don't think he has done much wrong and still is at a young age, not sure how he done at Barnsley. Overall probably deserves another season.

Chris Martin is tricky, I think he needs to play regular football. Which he won't with us, but I could see him in the Premier League after a couple of years of regular football. I remember the discussion came up a few weeks ago and someone suggested a buy back fee agreed if ever he does hit the Prem. Maybe that's an idea?

Both actually received rave reviews early on from the couple of fans I spoke to, but went a bit quiet after that. Certainly Korey Smith added creativity and assists to the Barnsley midfield.

I think everyone will get a clean slate, and thats fair

Chris especially has offers something we don't have, and he's certainly very capable

Korey has youth and enthusiasm, i'm lead to believe he was very good at barnsley on loan last year.

We shall see, will be very interesting to see how it pans out

When Tom Adeyemi first burst onto the scene I thought he was going to be 'the next big thing'. Perhaps he may well get another chance too ?

I reckon Chris will probably be sold, championship is his level and it sounds like we could get a bit of money for him. I think his career would benefit far more from playing for a championship club than sitting on the bench or worse in the prem. x

Thing is with a new manager A LOT can change. Certain players suddenly become really good and others suddenly become not so good. A player left in the dark suddenly becomes a regular starter or someone who used to be first name on the teamsheet is suddenly stuck on the bench. Certain players perform well under certain systems others just drop away.

I'd give CM pre-season training and 3-4 friendlies, if he's not up to scratch then ship him out...that is of course if he makes it that far without getting nicked.
