Surely using it as an excuse is just a lot of (hot) air. Don't get me (always)wrong, I think that Gills have been saved MANY times by Nelson - but - You really shouldn't be beaten by a free kick from around 40 yards. And why wasn't he wearing a cap ? - could THAT have been as much of the problem with the goal ? There were many occasions when the low sun was making life difficult for forwards and defenders alike. I would be very surprised if Nelson wasn't similarly affected. .... just a thought, eh Stuart.
Nelson has cost us two points and possibly a play off place with that howler yesterday, time to get rid!! Tee hee that was a joke but considering Bywater's slip up against Swindon at home, that is already the for point deficit from the play offs gone, just goes to show the fine margins in football
