At 5 o’clock today we will be on our way home from the stadium or the pub, some wont have left and will no doubt be going through the trials and tribulations of following Sunderland on here.

Depending on the result and performance will decide our humour tonight, a win and we can all enjoy our night, a draw and the performance will decide our mood, a loss and maybe a night off would be a good idea.

But right now, 7.45 on a Sunday morning, right now we are one, we are all Sunderland fans, hoping and praying that today is the day we score those goals and get that win.

I know we are tempted to question team selection and formation but lets hope its the right one.

Please can I ask you to remember that Bruce in or Bruce out we all feel the pain if we lose and we all share the same love, if that love is feeling in short supply tonight, take the night off and maybe tomorrow will be a better day.

Win, lose or draw I will still be having a pint(s) before & after the game.
Re; team selection, like many posters on here 4-4-1-1 evidently doesnt work. Lets inject pace, keep the ball on the ground and ATTACK them. if SB persists with he's seemingly preferred formation and we lose I fear he will lose the fans resulting in him being booted out even as early as this evening. Hope not.

Bruce has it within his own hands to change his and our, fortunes today. If he goes for the game and bins this folly of using sessegnon as a 2nd striker (which everyone but him can see he isn't) then we may just take the 3 points. If we go down trying I'll be much more forgiving than if we lose just doing the same thing.

A win isn't a certainty by any stretch of the imagination; a draw the most likely but a defeat will really hurt.

    I'm sticking to my 2 0. FTM
