I have no interest anymore. I have had all the rabid support I used to have drained out of me by Ashley and his mob. Its a sorry state of affairs when a die-hard supporter of 40 years has reached a mindset like this! I refuse to invest any more time or emotions in a club that clearly does not give a flying fig what I think or want. Bollocks to Fatty and also to that pathetic excuse of a team, masquerading as NUFC>

I can understand how you feel, the last few years has been hard, but the support will be here long after the fcb has become tired with his plaything. Ride the storm and support the team. **** Ashley.

    This! ^^

I just hope Ashley doesn't cause so much long-term damage before he goes that it cannot be repaired!

Not just Ashley, but Sky have created the animal that has allowed ****s like him to thrive. It will all come crashing down one day and Newcastle United will survive and football will go back to being a sport.

you're all dull and deluded and nothing will ever change becasue too many of our fans all have your mindset. The FCB cares about nothing but Money, we could have had rid a hell of a lot sooner if the ground was empty but I am not sure the majority of fans actually want him out.

How many games would sky show of an empty stadium, 1 or 2? maybe, then the broadcasting will stop, sky and the premier league will not show games on TV of an empty stadium as it wouldnt be exactly promoting the PL as the best league in the world. After 10 or 20 home games (or a seasons worth) advertisers would cut ties, SD.Com wouldnt be worth advertising and no-one would film us. The clubs value would depreciate allowing a new owner a magnificent opportunity.

As fans we are all too deluded and unorganised to see this or do anyting about it.

An empty stadium broadcast worldwide on TV would do far more damage to Ashley than any stupid chant or half-arsed protest. A lot of our fans are just zombies; they blindly follow. Ashley was laughing at us on Saturday. He was sitting there surveying his toy and laughing.

I'm with Somb, owners come and go. I support Newcastle United, not Mike Ashley. Yep he is coining it and using the club like a cheap prosser, but it doesn't change anything.

I get what you mean, but The Manager is Sh!te, the players are Sh!te , the owners a D!ck, we have nothing to play for and after Xmas it would have been the perfect opportunity to arrange a mass boycott, no attending games at all as the season was over, especially after the FA cup game or the transfer window, but no, we still get 50k at home to arsenal, where i believe we should have been 4 or 5 - 0 down at half time

We will never ever have a full boycott. Boycotting games isn't the English way of doing things. Because, when it comes down to it, it doesn't affect lives and English fans aren't as passionate as fans from say Greece, Turkey or Italy. It's a massive part of people's identity abroad. It's cultural. We English take things on the chin and don't like kicking up a fuss.

Personally, I think it's a shame that supporters are finding it increasingly easy to turn their back on the team. However, there's not a lot of point trying to force the opinion down, everyone will make up their mind in due course. It's like politics, some will always vote for one party because they're not really interested in the policy, it's just who they vote for.

Its a case of each to their own. No amount of pressure will force him to change anything or leave. That is my personal opinion. Therefore I choose not to look at how I can change and get on with the support of the team - regardless how ****e it is. Thick and thin and all that for me. Yeah its mainly thin supporting Newcastle, but it could be worse.

I do think our younger fans have seen some ****ty times. If you never saw the first 10 years or so of the PL and have only come in from the Souness era, you've had a pretty rough ride bar the 5th place season and Championship win. After having the privilege of seeing the period of ****eness in the 80's, at least I got the wonderful joyride of the KK and Bobby era.

The older than me brigade have seen it all, loads of negatives, a few positives, and it probably enable them to be a bit more level about the whole thing. They've seen worse. I have to say the period I watched pre Hall/KK was horrific. We were sinking. Mark Stimson. That is all I'm saying.

The 80's were a dark period. Started supporting in 1983-84, so I remember the crap that went on following our promotion back to Division One. The relegation season of 1988, Jim Smith, Ossie, getting thrashed off Southend and Oxford. That really was the lowest.

Even then though we had something to cling onto when Ossie brought through Watson, Elliott, Howey, Clark. We had Mirandinha in 87-88 (who moved into Bedlington where I lived). Gazza in 85-87. There has always been something to keep the spirits up. Its not the first time we've been run by a set of ****s and it won't be the last either.

We had some cracking youngsters in the early 90's. Ossie deserves credit for that. His mistake was relying solely on kids and some of his shocking tactics.
